This year Yakutia celebrates 100th anniversary of YASSR Merited Artist, RSFSR, YASSR Honoured Artist, RSFSR Honoured Art Worker, Laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) named after P. January 24 in the concert hall of the Children Art School № 1 the Philharmonia opened concerts cycle, dedicated to this memorable date. And the first concert “In Lights of the Northern Star” was prepared in cooperation with the Higher Music School of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) named after V. A. Bosikov.
With the symphonic orchestra «Symphonica ARTica» conducted by chief conductor Fabio Mastrangelo soloist, international competitions laureate, graduate of the Higher Music School of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) named after V. Comments
I would like to emphasize the mood of the concert itself. Such an expression, such power, I am surprised of how much energy the musicians, conductor, soloist Sergey Tanin must have – it strikes to the bottom of my heart. I want to encourage them, share with them my power, because they raised my mood this evening. As for Sergey Tanin, I am delighted with his play, I think wonderful music career expects him in future, I hope he will become a person, whom all Yakutia will be proud of. But not less I am delighted with play of the orchestra. I am very glad the Philharmonia has such a wonderful Italian conductor, he makes the orchestra sound very expressively.

Everything is wonderful, I have only good impressions of the concert: the pianist, orchestra and the way the conductor holds the orchestra – I could not even expect such a amazing performance. More often I visit such concerts in Moscow, but I did not think I would meet such high talented musicians here in Yakutia.

I liked the concert, the program, that was selected for the concert very much. Beethoven’s work in the first part of the concert and performed by Sergey Tanin was amazing. Everything sounded extremely well, especially I liked the smooth passes, when the orchestra began playing. It was a real fight between the orchestra and the soloist. The second part of the concert was so gorgeous, I was so glad listening to Verdi. The final part seemed to me very interesting, unusual: Verdi and after Yakutian music, our national flavor. Everything sounded in a wonderful way, thanks for very nice pastime.

I have visited a wonderful concert. Very interesting program was suggested. I liked the performance the soloists of the Theatre of Opera and Ballet Lyudmila Kuzmina and Ekaterina Zakharova. About Sergey Tanin I can say that it is always a miracle when such high-talented musicians come here. People are always happy when they get such opportunity to visit concerts of professionals. I am very proud of my student, he learnt so much. That base, which he got in the Higher Music School: ambition, purpose, and what is most important, his dream, all this played the main role of entering the Moscow State Conservatory. He dreamed studying there and he reached his aim. Being 16 years old he graduated 9th form and moved to Moscow alone. The competitive examination was 12 persons for 2 education places. By far from others with his examination results he entered the Conservatory, he was the best on the examination. All this means the level, preparation of the specialists of the Higher Music School. I think the main role his ambition and very professional team of the theoretical department of the Higher Music School: Zinaida Grigorievna Pavlova, Elena Afanasievna Tatarinova – all, who was with him, they gave him a very good base. Yesterday he told: “I entered the Central Music School without any problem”, but it is simply impossible to enter it. And at last, one of our graduates studies at the Moscow State Conservatory. He has a wonderful teacher there, her name is Plotnikova Irina Nikolaevna – student of Rudolf Rikhordovich Kerer, she works with him a lot, teaches him. The main thing is to learn.
Galina Mikhailovna Krovoshapko supported Sergey in all his beginnings very much, blessed him on his first competition in the Moscow State Conservatory when he was 11. That time he played with orchestra and became a winner of Shostakovich’s competition. Sergey played the Concert of Kobalevsky better than others, but there were 28 concerts, and he was chosen. He also played in Kiev State Philharmonia with orchestra in the same period when he was 11 years old. And he won in both competitions.
I am very glad that the Philharmonia of Yakutia invited my student Sergey Tanin for participating in this concert.
