May 23 мая Philharmonia performed single concert of unique Russian musician – multi saxophone player Ivan Dyma with the symphonic orchestra "Symphonica ARTica" conducted by the main conductor Fabio Mastrangelo.
The concert contained various program – multi parted forms, concert for saxophone with orchestra, jazz and blues compositions, avant-garde. In the program Russian premiere and music music for saxophone with orchestra performed seldom and therefore became a discovery for Yakutian listener sounded.
Ivan Dyma demonstrated mastery in playing all concert variants of saxophone – soprano, viola, tenor and baritone.
Concert for soprano-saxophone and symphonic orchestra of the notable native composer Andrey Eshpay opened the program. Despite the fact that the concert was academic one, in the middle part of the work authorial improvisation on blyes harmony sounded. Russian premiere of the evening was a composition of the French composer Pierre-Philippe Buzin “Poem for Viola Saxophone with orchestra”. Prototype of the work became a symphonic poem of Ferenc Liszt. The work differs by freedom of building and emotional intension. Ivan Dyma on viola-saxophone and soloists of the symphonic orchestra Sergey Yarovenko – vibraphone, Dmitry Rogov – double-bass performed suite from the movie “Catch me, if you can” by John Williams.
In the end of the concert program wonderful work by Jean Matite “Devil ragtime” was performed. During the performance all 4 saxophones were engaged.

Thanks to Philharmonia for the great concert! I can say that “Symphonica ARTica” was at it’s best. Fabio Mastrangelo excites with his skill to transform from concert to concert, this time he was very artistical.
