First Renat Ibragimov visited Yakutsk in 1980 and this long-awaited meeting with Yakut listeners became a prize for all his creation worshippers.
In the concert program Renat Ibragimov in conduction with the symphonic orchestra “Symphonica ARTica” conducted by Natalya Bazaleva presented unforgettable war years songs – “Let’s smoke”, “Song of the front driver”, “Tired submarine”, favourite Soviet schlagers – nolstalgic “Melody” by Pakhmutova, “Your eyes”, “Don’t hurry” by Babadzhanyan, from the words of which heart dies down, beautiful Tatar songs “Nightingale” and “Can’t forget”. The listeners sang along songs “Lada” and “Our city” – the performance of the last one the singer devoted to Yakutsk. Therewith songs of foreign composers and world hits «Bessame mucho», «Stranger in the night», «The shadow of your smile» and many others were presented. Songs «Love me tender», Cuba national “Dear” and “Yellow leaves” Renat Ibragimov sang in duet with Yakut singer Oksana Chupikova. The program was finished by one of the most popular song of XX century from Frank Sinatra’s repertoire – “My way”, which was performed in Russian.
